YOUR MEDIA. YOUR CHOICES.
Privacy policy.
Effective October 17, 2026 · LUVO is developed and operated by Eric Cazier.
LUVO is an audiovisual sampler. Its creative tools process your media on your device.
Media and app data
Audio and video you import, record, edit or export are used to provide the app’s creative features. LUVO does not upload your media to a LUVO-operated media server. App preferences, projects, recovery data and imported media may be stored on your device.
Tracking and advertising
LUVO does not include advertising or third-party tracking analytics. The app’s privacy manifest declares no tracking and no collected data types.
Permissions you control
- Camera and microphone: used when you record video and audio samples.
- Photos: used for media selection and saving exports through Apple’s system interfaces.
- Files: used to open media and to save projects, sample packs and exports where you choose. LUVO stores a reference to your preferred save folder.
- Local network: optional Ableton Link exchanges synchronization information with compatible peers to coordinate tempo and beats.
You can manage permissions in iOS Settings. Denying a permission can limit the associated feature.
iCloud, backups and sharing
If you choose an iCloud Drive folder, use iCloud Photos, enable device backups, or share files through another app, Apple or that provider may store or transmit those files under its own terms and privacy policy. LUVO does not control those services. A shared sample pack includes copies of its selected media.
TestFlight and Apple services
Beta distribution through TestFlight can make diagnostic, usage and feedback information available to the developer through Apple. App Store transactions, device diagnostics and Apple services are governed by Apple’s policies and your settings.
Support correspondence
If you contact support, the recipient receives the contact information, message and attachments you choose to send. This information is used to respond and investigate the issue. Avoid sending private media unless it is necessary for the support request. Support correspondence is kept as needed to respond, resolve the issue and meet applicable legal obligations. You can request deletion by emailing support@playluvo.app; some records may need to be retained for legal or security reasons.
This website
The site’s own code does not add analytics, advertising trackers or marketing forms. Hosting providers may process connection information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and secure the site. This website uses OpenAI’s Sites hosting infrastructure. Hosting and platform services have their own privacy practices; see OpenAI’s privacy policy. Support email is forwarded through Namecheap to a Gmail inbox. Those providers process email to deliver and store your correspondence. Website and support processing are separate from the LUVO app’s on-device media processing.
Managing and deleting your files
You can remove your saved projects and exported files through Files and remove saved photos or videos through Photos. Deleting the app removes its local app data, but copies you saved, shared or backed up may remain in those other locations. Manage cloud copies and backups with the relevant provider.
Changes and contact
This policy will be updated when LUVO’s practices change. The date above identifies the current policy. For privacy questions or requests, email support@playluvo.app.
